A NEW CYCLING PLAN
With development of new infrastructure, secure parking solutions and strengthening of the existing bicycle ecosystem, the French government plan for 9% of the countries population to switch to bicycles by 2024, compared with only 3% now. Paris aims to be a 100% cycling city by 2026.
This is a means tested grant available to those with a net taxable income. This incentive offers up to €2,000 towards the purchase of an electric bike.
SWITCH TO AN E-BIKE
The French government have increased the size of the subsidy offered to people who trade in their car for an electric bike by as much as €4,000. The incentive hopes to encourage people to ditch their polluting cars for a cleaner, more environmentally friendly mode of transport.
