Error 30: Communication error / no signal
Communication Error 30 is a generic electrical communication error between any of the electrical MATE components, due to this the troubleshooting might involve more steps to find the root cause of the problem.
Troubleshooting Steps:
- If possible, please cross-test the display, PAS sensor, battery, and main cable with a 2nd MATE.
- Inspect cable connections by unplugging and replugging them. Look out for any cuts, bends, or plug damage.
- Unplug and inspect the cable between the crank (PAS sensor) and the controller.
- Reconnect and perform a factory reset on the display.
- Unplug and inspect each brake sensor cable one at a time.
- Take note if the issue remains when unplugging either the front or back brake.
- Unplug and inspect the throttle cable for any damage.
- Reconnect and perform a factory reset on the display.
- Check your display, Unplug your display, inspect the connection and re-plug your display, and restart your bike.
